Good morning,
Due to there being possible freezing rain, we will be having a two-hour delay. All bus pick-ups will move forward two hours. The elementary school will open at 9:40 and the middle/high school will open at 10:30.
All students attending programs other than Newfield CSD, will be taken two hours later. This includes RAS, P-Tech at TC3, all day TST BOCES students, GST BOCES students, George Jr., New Visions, and New Roots.
The morning Career and Tech students will not have their AM program and need to report to school by 11:30. If you do not have a ride to come in at 11:30, you may be picked up two hours later and ride to BOCES and back to Newfield for your afternoon classes.
Afternoon Career and Tech Students will attend BOCES as scheduled.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these times.
Eric Hartz
NCSD Superintendent

Dear Newfield Families, This Friday, September 20, we will celebrate one of our former students, Aasen May. Aasen passed unexpectedly this summer. She was kind, hard-working, and an inspiration to many. She loved school, reading and hoped to be a teacher one day. To pay tribute, we will be wearing Aasen’s favorite color, purple, and have a special dedicated reading time in all classes. This year, our motto is MAKE IT COUNT, something Aasen did each and every day. Thank you!

Good afternoon, Newfield Elementary Families,
Due to tomorrow's forecast, we must cancel our outdoor field day. We have looked at rescheduling, but between weather and previously planned events, that will not be possible. Although families will not be able to attend, we will play games and do fun indoor activities with the students in classes while following our regular schedule. We hope to host you next year at our 2025 field day.
Have a good afternoon,
Kym Stine
Principal

"Newfield is SWEET on “Willy Wonka”
“Come with me and you’ll be in a world of pure imagination. Take a look and you’ll see into your imagination. We’ll begin with a spin traveling in the world of my creation. What we’ll see will defy explanation ....”
Follow Willy Wonka’s advice and come see the Newfield Trojan Masquers as they bring to life Roald Dahl’s classic story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir, in this entertaining musical adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. During Wonka’s search, he shows us that “a little nonsense, now and then, is relished by the wisest men.”
“Willy Wonka”has a talented cast, crew, and band, which is made up of students, faculty/staff, and family members, all of whom are very excited to share this colorful tale with the Newfield audience. So, bring your sweet tooth to the Vincent Aiosa Auditorium on March 22 & 23 at 7 P.M. or March 24 at 4 P.M. You can get your “golden ticket” at the door [adults - $10.00; senior citizens - $5.00; students - $5.00.].
“Oompa-Loompa Doompadee Dee, ‘Willy Wonka’ is the show to see!”

Newfield Transportation New Email Address and Phone Extension
Hello Newfield Central School families,
Our Transportation department is rolling out a new email address: Transparent@newfieldschools.org. This central account will help us to communicate and be transparent within the office. It will be monitored by several people in order to improve response times. Please email us at Transparent@newfieldschools.org with any Transportation-related questions.
In addition, you can now contact the Transportation office at a new phone extension – (607) 564-9955 x4145. This will ring the main line in the Transportation office. You may get a voicemail but this line and the voicemails are also monitored by three people in order to improve response times.
Please contact the individual school offices with any bus changes directly - the schools will then notify Transportation with those changes just like in the past.
If you are interested in driving for us please apply on our Human Resources Page
Thank you
