BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR: Business Administrator needed ASAP for a small, rural district in Central New York State. Newfield CSD is located about 10 minutes south of Ithaca, NY. The Business Administrator reports to the Superintendent and is responsible for all financial operations as well as supervision of treasurer, transportation, and food service. Experience closing out a building project is preferred. This is a full time position.

PHYSICS TEACHER - This is a part time (0.2 FTE) position. The candidate must be certified in NYS as a physics teacher and have demonstrated skill in teaching and student success on the Physics Regents exam. Open until filled.

FOOD SERVICE HELPER The employee will assist in the preparation and service of food and in the cleaning of lunchroom and kitchen equipment. This is routine repetitive manual work performed in connection with the preparation and serving of food and the cleaning of kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils in a school or institution. The work is performed under the immediate supervision of a cook, a cook manager, or other supervisor. The employee will perform all related duties as required APPLY HERE
CLEANERS AND CUSTODIANS - Performs a variety of cleaning in schools; set up and tear down for special events, other duties as assigned. Cleaning work includes the efficient and economical performance of building cleaning and occasional minor maintenance tasks that are performed under direct supervision or according to a specific set of instructions. TEACHER AIDE -Part-time 10-month position to work in classrooms and/or the afterschool programs. Persons hired as teacher aides may not perform the teaching duties of regular teachers, even if they hold a teaching license or certificate. Duties include but are not limited to the performance of functions such as managing records and materials, attending to students physical needs, helping students with clothing, monitoring and supervising students, having students line up, distributing and collecting papers, and reinforcing already taught materials/ skills in small groups or individually. Specific tasks will vary depending on the grade level and assignment to which an incumbent is assigned. Applications taken on a continuous basis.
