MAINTENANCE WORKER - Duties of this position include a variety of maintenance and grounds work. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry, as well as ability to operate snow removal equipment, is needed. Experience with grounds and maintenance of athletic fields is a plus. Work is performed under the general direction of the Facilities and Security Manager. This is a non-competitive Civil Service position. The selected candidate will have to meet the minimum Civil Service job requirements. This position is full time, 12-month, 8 hours/day, Monday through Friday. FT CLEANER - There is currently one vacancy for a full time 12-month Cleaner to clean schools as assigned and provide maintenance as directed. Duties include general cleaning of school buildings--classrooms, bathrooms, offices and hallways—and occasional minor maintenance tasks. May also be required to set up and provide support during special events. Other duties as assigned. BUS DRIVER - This is a part time, 10-month position assigned to work under the direct supervision of the Head Bus Driver. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications of a school bus driver, including a CDL-B license with endorsements P.S. and Air Brake. Must pass required physical, drug and background checks. Duties of this position include safely transporting students to and from school on a regular route as well as occasional field and athletic trips. Drivers must maintain order on the bus and follow all applicable laws, regulations and procedures.
