Hello, I'm Mr. Tonjes! Welcome to our 8th grade Math Page!
Who am I?
The 2018-2019 school year marks the start of my third year at Newfield School District and I am very excited to be back! In the past I have taught Middle School and High School in Binghamton, and in Watkins Glen. I am an Ithaca College graduate who moved to the area a few years after graduation. I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Sullivan County NY. The farm is still operational as my younger brother is beginning to take it over. My family takes our cows milk and processes it to make cheese, yogurt, and other delicious dairy products. Throughout the school year you will hear plenty of cow stories. I am very excited to be your teacher this year and I know we are going to have a lot of fun!
